Incredible music store and staff. Awesome gear and knowledgeable staff. Got a guitar from Ceth who is not only knowledgeable and passionate about what he does, but also incredibly friendly and answers questions without being "preachy." Most of my transactions here are for band instrument repair. I really do like the work Mark does on the repairs. He always gives a good price and gets it done in a reasonable time and would go above and explain the process of the repairs so I’d have more knowledge on quick repairs that can be done on the spot so a student wouldn’t have ti go without their horn in the time it takes to get the store to shop and then back to them.

I called Barnett Music Exchange and ask them if they were interested in buying a soundboard. It's a nice board and brand new cost about $7,500. I was informed that they wouldn't buy it but they would put it in their shop on consignment. I arranged to meet them later that day and when I got there after driving a ways to get there they decided that they didn't have room for it and then recommended that I take it somewhere else. When I took it to their recommended place the people there wanted nothing to do with it.

This is the coolest local shop for a serious guitarist. Employees are friendly and know their stuff. It seems like they specialize in higher end guitars and brands you don’t see everywhere else. When I dropped in, there were the usual PRS and Taylor but also Novo, Suhr, Nashguitars, Yairi, even a Parker on the wall. I walked out with a sweet new Couch strap.

Great selection, great atmosphere, and the staff is wonderful. The store is thoughtfully laid out and not over cluttered. Cameron helped my son pick out a guitar, a feat I never thought possible. He was patient and answered all of his questions and didn't flinch at his indecisiveness. Their selections range from a couple hundred dollars to top of the line. All options are great. We had been looking for months and after some Googling, came across Barnett Music. So so glad we did. They offer private music lessons too! We will be switching at the beginning of the year. . . Though my son wants to switch now! We are making him stay though his holiday concert at the current place 😉
